By signing up with a referral code and then referring others (just one other person), you can save 15% on trading fees up to a total of R1,500. If you sign up with this code and then don't refer anyone you still save 10% on trading fees. Each time you trade a currency you are charged a trading fee. This 15% discount on the trading fee will help you lessen some initial costs and get on your way to trading crypto like a pro!

EARN UP TO R1500 PER REFERRAL

You earn commissions (rewards) when your referrals trade on VALR: and you can earn up to R1500 per referral! Also, there are no limits to the number of people you can refer. You earn via a percentage of their trading fee (10%) when you reach referral level 3 as shown in the tables below.

REFERRAL LEVELS

How many sign-ups you refer determines whether you reach level 1, 2 or 3 as shown below. Note that the rebates and reward that are paid are either paid in rands or the equivalent cryptocurrency depending on the trade.

LEVEL 1

You reach Level 1 when you sign up to VALR with a referral code such as VABNY5BS. At this level you get a 10% discount/rebate on your trading fees (capped at R1500).

LEVEL 2

You reach Level 2 when you yourself refer one person who signs up to use VALR. At this level you get a 15% discount on your trading fee (capped at R1500). That's 5% more than at Level 1.

LEVEL 3

Refer two or more people to reach Level 3 and get 15% off your trading fees (capped at R1500) and a 10% reward on the trading fees of your referrals, up to R1,500 per friend.

EXAMPLES

Here are some examples of the rewards you get when signing up with a code and taking part in the referral programme.

EXAMPLE 1

If you signed up to VALR using a referral code (such as VABNY5BS) or link but you haven't referred anyone to VALR yourself, you will be on Level 1. At this level you will get a 10% rebate on your trading fees, up to a total of R1,500.

EXAMPLE 2

If you signed using a code, but you referred 5 of your friends, you will be on Level 3 and you get a 15% rebate on your trading fees up to a total of R1,500. You also get a 10% reward on the trading fees of your friends, up to R1,500 per friend, giving you a total potential reward of R7,500 (R1500 times 5 friends). The more friends you invite the higher your potential reward.
